At the Good for you Gourmet, we pride ourselves on being Victoria’s first organic, whole foods catering service. Serving Victoria since 1990, we specialize in custom menus for parties of 2–150 people. In every aspect of our service, we take great care to provide only the finest quality, wholesome and delicious ingredients, presented with seasonal west-coast garnishes.

The Good for you Gourmet offers a convenient, gourmet, whole foods catering service to residents of, and visitors to, Southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. We specialize in providing local & whole foods wedding menus to support your very special day. With our temperate weather and natural beauty, we encourage visitors to make Victoria their wedding destination!
We love to work with you to create a unique, naturally wholesome & delicious menu. Our recipes feature organic produce and dairy, organic ancient grains, whole grain flours and natural sweeteners, as well as free-range and/or organic meats. Our wholesome menu options are seasonally-based and naturally delicious.
At the Good for you Gourmet, we believe it is a chef’s responsibility to use only non-toxic, health-supporting ingredients in the foods we prepare for our clients, and we have integrated this belief into every aspect of the services we offer.

"We hired the services of chef Laura, the Good For You Gourmet, for a welcome dinner prior to our wedding at Sooke Harbour House in the summer of 2009. It was the promise of organic foods sourced locally that first drew us - usually a sign that you are getting the freshest and tastiest ingredients, as well as the obvious environmental benefits. After a friendly phone call we proceeded to book chef Laura as our carterer based on the appealing menu and personalized service that was on offer. Weddings being stressful and hectic affairs we were especially pleased to find how flexible chef Laura was and that she took on the added responsibilities of sourcing and providing tables and chairs, biodegradable plates, and all the other small items that you would rather not have to worry about. All we had to do was show up at our venue and enjoy the delicious food.
